Captain Ketch Charters offers private, hands-on captains coaching for boat owners, new anglers, and anyone who wants to become more confident on the water. Whether you’re new to boating or looking to sharpen your skills, our one-on-one training is designed to help you learn safely, quickly, and efficiently.

We offer two types of coaching setups:
If you already own a boat, we’ll meet you at the dock or ramp and provide instruction on your exact setup. This is the most effective way to learn, because you’ll be gaining comfort on the equipment you’ll be using.
You’ll learn how your boat handles at different speeds, how it reacts to wind and current, and how to make safe, efficient decisions on the water. We’ll also walk you through safety equipment checks, maintenance tips, and gear organization.
This option is especially helpful for new boat owners or those upgrading to a different size or style of vessel.
If you don’t have your own boat or are just getting started, we can use our vessel for the session. This gives you hands-on experience with a clean, well-rigged boat under professional guidance.

This is not a group course. Coaching sessions are private, personalized, and built entirely around your needs.
You’ll have the full attention of a licensed captain who works with you in real time. We don’t follow a rigid script—if you need to spend extra time on docking, anchoring, or GPS usage, we’ll stay on it until you’re confident.
